Police: Webster man stabbed multiple times, suspect in custody

A 25-year-old Webster man is in jail after police say he stabbed another man repeatedly in the back and head.
Lafayama Chapman is charged with second-degree assault.
Webster Police tell News10NBC they were called to the 900 block of Krieger Road around 5:50 p.m. Wednesday for the report of a stabbing. When officers arrived at the scene, they found a 22-year-old man with multiple stab wounds to his head and back.
Investigators say Chapman stabbed the victim with a pocket knife after a verbal argument.
The victim was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital for treatment.
