RPD Locust Club to present check to officers impacts by Superstorm Sandy

They have been raising money for their fellow police officers on Monday, the Rochester Police Locust Club and the National Association of Police Organizations will present a check for police officers impacted by Superstorm Sandy.

The groups will also present a check to the family of Webster Police Lieutenant and firefighter Mike Chiapperini. He was one of the firefighters killed on Christmas Even while responding to a fire on Lake Road in Webster.

All the money was raised locally.
