Some SU basketball tickets sold on Craigslist could be fake

If you bought Syracuse University basketball tickets from Craigslist recently, you’ll want to make sure they are not fake.

Police say they have arrested a man who was selling counterfeit tickets online. The tickets are for an upcoming game against Georgetown on February 23 and they won't scan at the door.

If you think you might have bought fake tickets, you are urged to call Syracuse Police.

The man arrested is Harry Levy from Syracuse. Police say a Watertown man came forward with fake tickets he bought from Levy.

So far, police have identified two other people who bought the tickets but they expect many more might have fallen victim to this scam.
