Deputies: Ski equipment, candy, soda stolen from lodge in Powder Mill Park

Ski equipment, candy, soda and cash were stolen from a lodge in Powder Mill Park in Perinton.

Monroe County Sheriff’s Deputies say sometime between 2 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. on January 28, an unknown suspect(s) broke a plexiglass window to get into Powerhorn Lodge which houses Swain Resorts ski operation. Once inside, deputies say the suspect(s) stole $8 for a cash box, a 12-pack of orange soda, multiple bags of candy, two pairs of ski goggles and two ski helmets.

The investigation is ongoing.
