Rochester man found guilty of manslaughter for stabbing teen to death

A 21-year-old man has been found guilty of manslaughter for stabbing a teenager to death.

A judge found Devonte Moorer guilty in the stabbing death of 18-year-old Calvin Reid on the corner of Avenue D and Hudson Avenue in June 2011.

Prosecutors say the crime happened in front of over a dozen witnesses, some of whom they say refused to come forward. It was also captured on surveillance video from a nearby store.

Moorer faces up to 25 years in prison when he is sentenced March 13.
