A Syracuse man has admitted to having sexual contact with a teenage boy last year.
The Monroe County District Attorney's Office says Taha Alashwal plead guilty to criminal sexual act Friday. Alashwal admitted taking the boy to a Henrietta hotel last June with the intention of having that contact.
The investigation revealed the boy was able to get away from Alashwal by stabbing him with a pen and running to the lobby for help.
Alashwal will be sentenced March 12. He must register as a sex offender.
