Deputies: Attica man crashes into tree after DWI arrest

The Genesee County Sheriff's office says a man may face more charges after crashing his car into a tree following his arrest for driving while intoxicated.
    
Authorities say 34-year-old Jeffrey Hamill of Attica was charged around 1:45 a.m. Sunday in the town of Pembroke. About three hours later, deputies say he lost control of his car and hit a tree on Route 238 in the town of Darien.
    
Hamill was airlifted to Strong Memorial Hospital, where he was in satisfactory condition Sunday afternoon.
