Troopers: Mother takes too much medication while caring for her child

State Police say they arrested a Macedon woman after she took an excessive amount of prescription medicine while caring for her child.

Rhonda Lawton, 44, is charged with endangering the welfare of a child.

Lawton was arraigned and committed to the Wayne County Jail on $5,000 bail.

She is scheduled to return to the Town of Macedon Court to answer to the charges on February 26.
