A 40-year-old Steuben County man is facing charges after sheriff’s deputies say he drove recklessly, did donuts in a school parking lot and backed into a high school, causing $35,000 in damage.
Joseph Hadley of Woodhull is charged with reckless driving, leaving the scene of a property damage accident and criminal mischief.
Deputies say they were called to Jasper-Troupsburg High School the morning of February 13 for the report of a vehicle striking the west end of the building. Investigators say they were able to identify Hadley’s vehicle and arrest him.
Hadley is due in court on March 19 to answer to the charges.
