Seven people escape Dansville house fire

Seven people were inside a home when a fire broke out early Thursday morning. The call came in just before 2 a.m. for a structure fire on Cemetery Road in the Town of North Dansville.

News10NBC is told that working smoke detectors alerted the homeowners and their five children. All were able to escape the home without being injured.

The investigation is continuing at this time but the fire is believed to have started at an outside furnace/boiler and then spread to the residence.
