New York City police have arrested a pair of teenagers and accused them of forcing two 7-year-old girls to fight each other for a video that was later widely viewed on the Internet.
The video shows the two tiny children standing close together, while belligerent teens off-camera say things like "Slap her!" and "Punch her!" until one of the girls finally grabs the other by the hair. After a minute of grappling, the other girl finally breaks away, sobbing "I'm not playing. I like this little girl."
The fight happened in a Bronx park in early January.
Police on Friday arrested two older girls, ages 14 and 15. A department spokesman says they instigated the fight.
They have been charged as juveniles and their names were not released.
