RGH ranks fourth in the nation for major cardiac surgery

Rochester General Hospital’s Sands-Constellation Heart Institute has been recognized for excellence in major cardiac surgery by CareChex, an organization that ranks service.

Rochester Genera ranks fourth and is in the top five along with Cleveland Clinic and Duke University. RGH is the highest ranking hospital in New York State.

The ranking is based on the past three years of data on mortality and complication rates, patient satisfaction and patient safety indicators.
