A Rochester man is in jail facing several charges in Florida.
The Wayne County Sheriff's Office says Steven Perry, 49, of Rochester, was being bailed out of jail for traffic charges when investigators found out that he was a wanted fugitive in Florida. Perry is wanted for several burglary and grand larceny charges. He was arraigned in Arcadia Town Court.
So far Perry is charged with aggravated unlicensed operation and operation of a motor vehicle while the registration is suspended or revoked.
Perry will wait in Wayne County Jail without bail until they hear from Florida authorities.
