A man who was shot several times manages to get to a Rochester mini-mart for help.
Police say they were already on their way to the area because a Shot Spotter system detected gunfire on Durnan Street just before 11 p.m.
A 9-1-1 call came in moments later from a mini-mart employee at the corner of Hudson Avenue and Durnan Street saying a shooting victim walked in.
The 21-year-old man was shot in the lower body. He was rushed to Strong Memorial hospital.
Police say he is stable condition and expected to survive. Investigators are still looking for a suspect.
