Yates Co. man charged with sex abuse, forcible touching

A 45-year-old Yates County man is charged with sex abuse, forcible touching and endangering the welfare of a child.
State Police say Daniel White of Dundee followed a 12-year-old as they walked home from school, approached the child in an intoxicated state and inappropriately touched them.
According to police, the child reported the incident to their family who contacted police. White was arrested based on a description provided by the child.
White is currently in Yates County Jail in lieu of bail. He is due back in court on a later date.
