Two men taken to hospital after early morning shooting on High Street

Two men were taken Strong Memorial Hospital after an early morning shooting on the city's northeast side.
Police say officers were called to High Street around 4:45 a.m. Sunday morning for a report of a person shot.
When they arrived, police found a 28-year-old man who was shot in the upper torso. They also found a 21-year-old man who was injured after apparently being pistol whipped during an altercation at the residence.
The victims told police they were attacked by at least two people who had broken into their home.
Police are still looking into the shooting and no arrests have been made at this point.
