Rochester Police ID victim of fatal hit and run

Rochester Police have identified the victim in a fatal hit and run on North Goodman Street. It happened at the intersection of North Goodman and High Streets around 11:15p.m.
Rochester Police say 37-year-old Harry Andrews, of Rochester, was standing next to an SUV on the side of the road, pouring gas into the vehicle's gas tank when he was hit by a passing car.
Police say Andrews was thrown into the road and suffered a fatal head injury. He was taken to Rochester General Hospital and was pronounced dead shortly after midnight.
Investigators are following several leads, but are also encouraging anyone in the community with additional information to call 911.
