Volunteers of America celebrating 112 years in the community

One hundred and twelve years of helping those in our community who need it the most.
The Volunteers of America had a huge anniversary celebration Tuesday morning at their headquarters on Lake Avenue. The organization provides a variety of services including housing for the homeless, education programs for at-risk children and job training.
The VOA received a check for more than $25,000. The VOA says it is always looking for volunteers. To find out how you can help, click here.
