City and county announce St. Patrick's Day Parade details

Are you getting your green outfit ready?

Just nine more days until Rochester's St. Patrick's Day Parade and this year's theme is The Shamrock.

The parade committee, the mayor and the county executive announced all the details about this year's festivities.

The parade starts at 12:30p.m. on Saturday March 16 at East Avenue and Alexander Street, winding down East Avenue to Main Street. Last year, it was almost 70 degrees for the parade and and 60,000 people came out for it.   

Leading the way this year will be the Grand Marshall, John Savino, from Johnny's Irish Pub.
