Genesee Valley Ice Rink to close Sunday for renovations

The Genesee Valley Park Indoor Ice Rink will be closing Sunday March 10 for renovations.
Work will begin mid-March to replace the rink's ice slab, which has been in service since the 1970's. Other projects including plumbing repairs and electrical upgrades. The cost of the project is expected to be more than $1.2 million.
The rink will reopen to public in September.
