A Rochester man, who was found guilty for the 2006 home invasion and rape of a woman on Ambrose Street in the city of Rochester was sentenced, Thursday.
Ronell McFadden, 35, was sentenced to 60 years in state prison. He was found guilty last month of rape and criminal sex act.
On May 3, 2006, McFadden forced his way into the woman's home where the woman and her baby were sleeping, threatened them both with a knife before raping her.
The woman was not able to get a clear look at her assailant, which led to the arrest of an innocent man. But a Combined DNA Index System hit later identified McFadden as the attacker after he was forced to submit a DNA sample following an arrest on another charge.
