A woman was taken to the hospital after she was involved in a crash with a Rush-Henrietta School bus Friday morning.

The crash happened around 6:50a.m. in the area of East Henrietta Road and Lehigh Station Road.

Monroe County Sheriff's Deputies say a school bus was south on East Henrietta Road when the driver attempted to make a left-hand turn on Lehigh Station Road. The bus was then hit by a car going northbound.

The driver of the car was taken to Strong Hospital with minor injuries. There were 22 students onboard. They were not hurt and neither was the driver of the bus.

No tickets have been issued at this time.
