Police looking for suspect who stole 30-40 gold rings from Ontario Mall Antiques

State Police are looking for the person who entered an antique store in Farmington and stole between thirty to forty gold rings.

This happened around 9:00p.m. Sunday at the Ontario Mall Antiques on Route 332 in Farmington.

Police say the suspect smashed a window with a claw hammer and then entered the store. Police say the suspect smashed a display case and put thirty to forty gold rings with gem stones into a cardboard box. The rings include amethyst, blue topaz, peridot, citrine and garnet. Police say they are worth between $150 and $500 each.

Police say the suspect took off and was in the store for less than 30 seconds.

According to police, the suspect was wearing a royal blue colored hoodie, jeans and workboots. Anyone with information is asked to call State Police at 398-4121.
