Rochester's economy got a big shot in the arm thanks to the Broadway play, "The Book of Mormon", which wrapped up its tour in Rochester Sunday night.

The Rochester Broadway Theatre League says there were ticket buyers from 36 counties that came out to see the show at the Auditorium Theatre. The financial boost came not only from patrons buying tickets and dining here, but also from the cast and crew. RBTL says 400 local hotel rooms were booked, tourist hot spots were visited and restaurants were also packed from cast and crew on the show.

RBTL says this season's shows will help bring in $25 million for the local economy. RBTL will announce its 2013-2014 lineup on March 13.
