Sheriff, Chief of Police to discuss SAFE Act

What do law enforcement officers in Monroe County think of the gun control rules laid out in the NY SAFE Act? On Tuesday, the leaders of the Rochester Police Department and the Monroe County Sheriff's Department will address the controversial legislation.

Monroe County Sheriff Patrick O'Flynn and Rochester Police Chief James Sheppard will be the special guest speakers at the Rochester Rotary luncheon.

Sheriff O'Flynn and Chief Sheppard will discuss their views on the NY SAFE Act, the most comprehensive gun legislation in the nation.

The luncheon is at 12 p.m. Tuesday at the Rochester Riverside Convention Center.
