Do you like to take your family fishing on Lake Ontario? Now is the time for you to ask questions and talk with the department of environmental conservation.
The DEC will host three public "State of Lake Ontario" meetings across the area to discuss the economic and environmental importance of maintaining the lake's fishing opportunities.
The first was March 6 in Oswego County. The second meeting is tonight at 7 p.m. in the Carlson Auditorium at RIT.
Representatives from the Monroe County Fishery Advisory Board will be there.
There is one more meeting scheduled for March in Lockport.
