The Town of Chili will be recognizing some local heroes who helped saved a family when a fire tore through their Golden Road home in January.

Kaitlyn Ogg, her children – four-year-old RJ Lockwood and seven-month-old Mara Ogg -- and her mother, Judy Ogg, were home at the time of the fire on January 24.

Barbara Langdon, a postal worker, saw the fire and was able to help pull Judy Ogg to safety.

Langon, along with David Sau, Scott Miller, Jason Elliotto, Chuck Keiser, James Christian, Robert Fredette, Brian Mochrie and the first responders from engines 4312 & 4332 Chili Volunteer Fire Department and Chili Volunteer Ambulance, will be honored on Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the Chili Town Hall.

In February, RJ Lockwood and Judy Ogg were released from Strong Memorial Hospital. Kaitlyn and Mara remain in the hospital.
