State Police increasing Thruway patrols during St. Patrick's Day weekend

State Police are adding additional DWI check points on the New York State Thruway during St. Patrick’s Day weekend.
Troopers will be out in full force keeping close watch for drunk drivers.
The additional patrols and checkpoints will be in place beginning Friday, March 15 and running through Sunday, March 17.
