In its ongoing technology war against rival Apple, Samsung has enlisted the help of a live orchestra, 17 actors and an event at New York's famed Radio City Music Hall. All of this Thursday was to tell the world about its new Galaxy S 4 which Samsung hopes will give the iPhone a run for its money.

The new phone has a larger, sharper screen than its predecessor, the best-selling S III. And the S 4 has a slightly smaller footprint than the previous model.

The phone will go on sale in the U.S. sometime between the end of April and the end of June.

It will be sold by all four national carriers: Verizon, AT&T, Sprint Nextel and T-Mobile. No official word on what it will cost but it's expected to run about $200.
