On Friday, the City of Rochester will go green in preparation for this year’s parade. Crews will paint the traditional green line down to get ready for the parade which begins tomorrow at 12:30 on East Avenue.
Rochester Police Chief James Sheppard says he's adding 60 officers, many will be along the parade route.
Police will also be working closely with bar owners who are hiring extra security. A DWI crackdown starts today and goes through Sunday night.
