Bagpipes, Irish dancers and lots of green were all seen on Saturday during the annual Rochester St. Patrick's Day Parade.

This year thousands bundled up to enjoy the sights and sounds.

St. Patrick's day isn't officially until Sunday, but if you were downtown Saturday afternoon you wouldn't have been able to tell.

This year's parade didn't disappoint. There were floats, fire trucks and musicians making their way down East Avenue.

Also in Saturday's parade was injured West Webster firefighter Ted Scardino as well as fallen firefighter Mike Chiapperini's son.

While Saturday's weather wasn't as nice as last years was, that didn't keep thousands from coming downtown and showing their Irish spirit.

The parade wrapped up around 3 p.m., but of course the celebrating will last throughout the night.
