It's the largest financial gift ever for East House and it's from a father in honor of his daughter.
East House said it is receiving more than $500,000 from a trust set up by Paul Wolk, one of the founders. It is in memory of his daughter, Barbara.
East House helps people with mental illnesses or those with addictions. East House says some of the money will go toward providing shelter, education and employment opportunities for the clients it serves.
