Lovely Warren to run for mayor

News10NBC is told City Council President Lovely Warren will be making a run for Rochester's top office.
Warren, who has served on City Council since 2007, asked for support Wednesday night from the Southeast Legislative Committee in challenging Mayor Tom Richards for office. This will force a democratic primary for the position.
Warren says the Southeast Committee has decided to support Mayor Richards. However, she feels she will garner support in other parts of the city.
City business owner Alex White has also announced he will run for the job on the Green Party line.
There is no word yet on if the Republican party will put a candidate up for election.
