Do you have something to say about Rochester's budget for 2013-2014? Members of the community have a chance to speak up Thursday night.

Rochester Mayor Tom Richards will host a Voice of the Citizen forum Thursday, focusing on the 2013-2014 budget. This is the first of four forums that will be held, giving residents a chance to learn more about the budget and join in the discussion.

Topics up for discussion include taxes and fees for residents, police and fire services and reductions in federal funding, including the impact of the national sequester here in Rochester.

Thursday's session will be held at the Freddie Thomas campus on Scio Street, off of Central Park. All of the forums are open from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.

The other sessions are next Wednesday, March 27 at School Number 1 on Hillside Avenue, Monday, April 2 at Edgerton Community Center on Backus Street and Wednesday, April 3 at the Adams Street Community Center.
