Firefighters say a vacant home will be torn down after an early Sunday morning fire.
The Rochester Fire Department says the fire started around 6 a.m. Sunday morning on Barons Street off of Clifford Avenue.
Investigators say the blaze started on the first floor of the residence and spread to the second. Firefighters tell News10NBC it took about a half hour to put out the flames. They also say that this same building was damaged in previous fire last year.
Because of the damage from both of the fires, firefighters say the house will be demolished.
Officials say nobody was living at the residence at the time of the fire and nobody was injured due to the blaze.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
