Police say one of the Boston marathon bombers was killed in a shootout. His brother, who is also a suspect, is still on the run. Now NBC News is reporting that police are searching for a possible accomplice.

Just before 10 a.m., News10NBC spoke with a Rochester native who has been living in Boston for years.

This is how she describes her surroundings. Courtney Osgood said, “The only way I can describe it is eerie. I haven't seen one single person. No cars, essentially no lights outside. The whole city is on lockdown and not just the city but the surrounding suburbs as well. Right now I'm actually looking out my window and I can see a helicopter. I can see two of them just circling the city. It's such a great city and to know that this is happening right now is surreal. I don't think it's actually hit.”

News10NBC continues to track the latest on the investigation and will post any information on our website.
