Deputies: Fairport man in possession of stolen tractor

A 62-year-old Fairport man is facing charges after sheriff’s deputies say he was in possession of stolen property.

Joseph Bartholomew is charged with second-degree criminal possession of stolen property.

Investigators say Bartholomew was in possession of a stolen frontend loader and a tractor. Sheriff's Deputies say the front end loader was stolen from CP Ward and the tractor was stolen from a resident. According to deputies, in addition to the two pieces of equipment, hundreds of items believed to be stolen were recovered by investigators.

Deputies say the value of the stolen items is more than $150,000. The investigation is ongoing.
