Man stabbed multiple times overnight on Sherman Street

A city man is recovering after he was stabbed multiple times Sunday morning on the city's northwest side.

Rochester Police say they were called to Sherman Street near Bauer Street around 4:20 a.m. on Sunday morning for a report of a man stabbed. When they arrived, the found a 29-year-old victim had been stabbed multiple times in the upper body.

The victim was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police say the investigation is ongoing and the suspect is known.
