A benefit for a local man who was injured in the Boston Marathon bombings.

Peter DiMartino was at the finish line with members of his family when the explosions happened. They were cheering on his mother, who was running in the race. Peter and his sister, Gina, suffered leg injuries. Gina has since been released from the hospital.

MacGregors' on East Avenue hosted a fundraiser Friday. People who were there got the chance to see DiMartino via Skype.

Christopher Spillman, General Manager, MacGregors', said, "You never really think this is going to happen to someone you're so close with. Peter's been with us a long time, he's been a great employee. Basically the day after it happened, everybody on staff, customers, vendors were all asking the same question, what can we do for him, and this is what we came up with."

If you'd like to help the DiMartino family, Spillman says you can make a donation by visiting any of the MacGregors' locations around the Rochester area.
