The Lilac Festival is just a few days away and on Wednesday, a group of volunteers will spruce up a part of Highland Park where thousands will visit during the course of the festival.
Volunteers from Camp Good Days and Special Times will start raking, mulching and cleaning “Teddi's Place” at 9 a.m. Wednesday.

Teddi's Place is named after Teddi Mervis who was the inspiration for many programs that have come out of Camp Good Days and Special Times for kids with terminal illnesses.
