Two teenage girls injured after car vs. train crash in Yates Co.

Two teen girls were injured after deputies say a car struck a train in Torrey.
The Yates County Sheriff's Office says they were called to Kings Hill Road near Plant Road just after 9 p.m. Friday night for a report of a train versus car crash.
When deputies arrived, they say they found a 16-year-old girl, a 14-year-old girl and 15-year-old girl near the scene of the crash. Deputies say two of the girls were injured and taken to separate hospitals. One was taken by Mercy Flight to Strong Memorial Hospital for complaints of back pain and the other was taken to Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital for neck injuries.
Deputies say the car the girls were traveling westbound on Kings Hill Road and failed to stop for the train traveling northbound. The incident is still being investigated and deputies say they are still working to determine who was driving the vehicle at the time of the crash.
