Rochester Police say a 29 year-old Rochester woman, without a drivers license, blew through a red light, causing a three-car crash that sent nine people to the hospital Sunday afternoon.

Police say the crash happened just after 4 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of Flower City Park and Lake Avenue.

According to police, the woman was driving a 2004 Ford Expedition going eastbound on Flower City Park when a police officer behind her tried to pull her over. That's when police say she ran the red light and hit two other cars.

Police say nine people were taken to the hospital and all suffered only minor injuries.

Police tell News10NBC the woman's passenger also had cocaine at the time of the crash and both are expected to face charges.
