The Greece woman accused of purchasing weapons used in the Christmas Eve shooting in West Webster was expected in court Monday but her case was adjourned until July 29.
Dawn Nguyen is charged with falsifying business records. Police say she made false claims when she purchased the guns used in the shooting, saying the guns were for her. Prosecutors say she intended to buy them for the gunman William Spengler, a convicted felon. Spengler spent 17 years in prison for killing his grandmother.
Nguyen is also facing federal charges.
If she is convicted on the charges made by the state, Nguyen could face up to four years in prison.
