Brighton Police say an incident on Edgewood Avenue Monday afternoon appears to be a case of swatting.

Crews responded to a home around 2:30p.m. after police say someone called about an alleged incident at that location. After searching the home, Brighton Police say nothing unusual was found.

What is swatting? It is when someone calls police, claiming there's something serious going on, in order to get police to respond.

Brighton Police Captain Robert Cline said police are continuing to look into this incident. He didn't want to get into specifics. He says it is part of the investigation.
