A security concern at the Greater Rochester International Airport Wednesday after TSA officials stopped a man when a grenade was found in his luggage.
The grenade was in the man's checked bag. News10NBC was told he is originally from Rochester, but now lives in California. He was flying to Philadelphia. He couldn't take the grenade with him though, even after experts determined all the explosives had been removed from the grenade.
The Transportation Security Administration wants everyone to remember explosives are not allowed to be brought on board an aircraft, live or inert. The man was allowed to continue on his trip.
