Chase employees that will soon be looking for a job will have a chance to find one at several different hiring events.

Chase's Albion employees will meet with western New York employers on June 28 seeking to hire hundreds of workers.

The companies will be hiring for entry-level to managerial positions in industries from mortgage servicing and technology to insurance and telecommunications.

"We work very hard to take care of our employees when we have to make tough decisions about our business," said Chief Executive Officer for Chase Mortgage Banking, Kevin Watters,  "We sought out top companies with open positions that would benefit from hiring our talented and skilled workforce."

In addition, Chase is holding on-site hiring events Thursday and Friday for employees to meet company managers from Rochester and other locations.

They will discuss 330 open positions from customer assistance to support areas.

Chase is also offering career services and training sessions, including resume writing, interviewing and online skill assessments.

Chase will also hold a separate hiring event on June 26 for AMS Servicing, a Buffalo-based company that wants to meet with Chase employees for 150 open positions.  AMS will also participate in the June 28 event.

The companies looking to hire are:

-AMS Servicing, which expects to hire 150 people, many of them from Chase
-Yahoo!, which expects to hire 125 customer care positions in the area
      -Altitude
       -Concentrix
-Consumer Credit Counseling Services of Rochester
       -CRFS
       -Premiere Credit of North America
      -Sutherland Global Services
       -Wegmans

This comes after JPMorgan Chase announced the closing of it's call center in Albion. It is expected that 485 employees will lose their job in three months.
