An Irondequoit man charged in connection with a deadly crash in Pittsford has been indicted by a Monroe County Grand Jury for leaving the scene of that accident.

Police say 30-year-old Michael Hanna left the scene of an accident that resulted in the death of 26-year-old Vaughn Steele of Penfield. Investigators say Hanna hit and killed Steele in January while Steele was walking alongside East Avenue near Kilbourn Road. Hanna told investigators he thought he hit a garbage can.
