Supporting families in times of crisis and need is the goal of the Hunter Resch Foundation and Hunter's Army.

The second annual Hunter's 5K Run and Walk was held Saturday afternoon at Barnard park in Greece.

Hunter Resch is a young man who was shot and killed by his father in February 2010. The group was formed to show Hunter's family that they are not alone and they will forever have an army of help, love and support.

“The support is huge for the families, because the amount of people that come here, strangers that give their money to play games and eat food and showing the family 4 years later that they're still supporting,” said organizer Stacey Morrison.

Prizes and medals were awarded to the top male and female finishers in each race and to the top three finishers 12 and under.
