They're lining the streets and spreading their message, but it's not one everyone agrees with. A national anti-abortion group is in town and is teaming up with the local pro-life movement.
From the University of Rochester Medical Center to Planned Parenthood, protests are going on all over the Rochester region.
News10NBC stopped by Strong Hospital where several people are holding up pro-life signs. Those protesting are part of a national group called Operation Save America. They picked Rochester to hold their annual week-long conference. Joining them is a local pro-life group called Rescue Rochester." They'll also rally at Planned Parenthood and gay-friendly churches.
Pro-choice advocates say this is not necessary and creates a chaotic environment for patients.
Law enforcement has been planning for these protests. So far, no incidents have been reported.
