Two teens have been charged after police say they stole a car, drove it up over a curb and crashed into a pole. The car then went up in flames.

Seventeen-year-old Naheem Tanksley and 16-year-old Jaheem Anthony, both of Rochester, are charged with criminal possession of stolen property.

Officers say they spotted the stole car around 1:00a.m. on Friday on Main Street in Rochester. When they tried to pull it over, they say Tanksley wouldn't stop. That's when police say he lost control of the car, jumped the curb and then crashed it causing it to catch fire.

Investigators say the car was originally stolen from a location in Brighton.
